This was when we went to Zion National Park over spring break. We kept running into this horse. He seemed lonely.

Olive: "I was a little surprised how well he could stand on his hind legs."

We're Back

Olive has been insistent about resurrecting this blog. So, without further ado . . . we're back. Here's a pic we took on our recent trip to Arches National Park over the summer. We live in Denver now and expect to be visiting many more places like this from now on. Enjoy.

Family in town

Olive checking out the turtles at the Dallas Aquarium.

Olive below the shark tank.

Mom and Grandma are actually able to hold Olive b/c Latika's not around (Olive wanted to be with Latika 24/7).

Olive and Tika swimming.

Olive's first ponytails- courtesy of Grandma Cindy.

GG-ma, Catherine (who was just baptised!), Tika, and Olive chillin' on our new couch (well . . . new to us).

Trip to Utah

Travis and Zach with Olive out in front of Travis's new house.

Olive and Justin cheering Cyle on at his race in Provo.

GG-ma Woolf found lots of "toys" in her sewing room for Olive to play with

Justin tossing Olive around at Temple Square.

We took this picture during a tour presentation--right before we read the sign "Please do not take pictures during the tour presentations."

Eating at the Lion House with G-ma and G-pa Evanson and Johnny. Could Justin's smile get any sweeter?

May

Here's Olive learning how to wash her hands. Awesome.

Here she is cheese-ing it.

Here she is at the park.

Olive usually doesn't fall asleep very easily, but here is an exception.

Sam's Club

Here's Olive with her boyfriend Sam. She gets excited whenever she expects to see him--when we go shopping at Sam's Club for instance. (Like her mom, Olive is attracted to men with abnormally large heads.)

Texas Bluebonntes

Here's a photo of Olive in a field of Bluebonnets--the state flower of Texas. This was taken last week.

Trampo Land

We asked Dad if we could have a trampoline, but he said no, that they were too dangerous and too expensive. But then we went and talked to the trampoline salesman at the store, and he said they weren't too expensive or dangerous. I think I'm still sorta mad at Dad for lying to us like that.

donkey

I got a kick out of these two photos. First we have Olive yelling, "HEE HAW! HEE HAW!" through the fence at the donkey. The donkey turns around and Olive can't get away fast enough.

O. J.

Here's a good photo of Olive with Jerold. This was taken at Thanks- giving 2005.

Jet Lag

This is when I first arrived in Vietnam for our Oral Surgery trip a couple years ago. I had a little bit of jet lag. (You can tell it's the beginning of the trip from the ruddy complexion.)
